NIGICHA Shinjuku Gyoen, a cafe specializing in matcha and rice balls, has been featured in the special edition free magazine for the January 2026 “Shinjuku City Half Marathon,” 『JG mini (Vol.18)』.

The magazine introduces NIGICHA Shinjuku Gyoen as a “roadside gourmet and cheering spot” where runners can stop by on race day, set against the backdrop of Shinjuku's streets where approximately 15,000 runners will race through.

We were recognized as a Japanese-modern cafe serving rice balls made with Minamiuonuma Koshihikari rice and Japanese teas, including matcha, and for being open from the morning hours.

We invite you to visit us not only on race day but also for morning meals, coffee breaks, or lunch in the Shinjuku Gyoen area.

Moving forward, NIGICHA will continue striving to be a place where you can enjoy Japanese food culture in your daily life, guided by our concept: “Bringing the world's breakfasts to matcha and rice balls.”
