Product Description
A luxurious onigiri with tuna mayonnaise made from specially selected tuna and chopped Sawan (herring roe). Fresh summer bottle-neck tuna is slowly marinated in vitamin E-rich cottonseed oil and aged for more than six months. You can enjoy the original flavor of tuna and its mild and rich taste.
The mayonnaise is made with only egg yolks for a rich and thick flavor. The sweetness of the Sawan (herbs) is added to the tuna mayonnaise, creating a pleasant texture and balance.
The rice used is carefully selected domestic rice such as “Tsuyahime” from Shonai-machi, Yamagata Prefecture and “Koshihikari” from Minamiuonuma. The fluffy grains envelop the flavors of the tuna and Sawan, creating an exquisite harmony. In addition, the carefully selected flavorful salt tightens the entire dish and accentuates the deliciousness of the onigiri.
*Because of the cooking process, brown rice and black rice may be served around noon. Only white rice will be served until around 11:00 a.m.
