Product Description
Fluffy rice is wrapped in fluffy white yam kelp and garnished with Kishu Nanko plums from Wakayama Prefecture in the center. The combination of pickled plums and kelp is a dish that will make you rediscover traditional Japanese delicacies.
For the pickled plums, we used Kishu Nanko-Ume plums carefully grown on our own farm in Minabe-cho, Wakayama Prefecture. The large Nanko-ume plums are slowly pickled with lotus root honey, giving them a fruity flavor with low acidity. This pickled plum has a gentle flavor that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from small children to the elderly.
In addition, the white yam kelp is made by carefully shaving only the core of Hokkaido Donan Makonbu (kelp), giving it a fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The refined flavor of the kelp complements the umeboshi.
The salt is carefully selected for its umami flavor, bringing together the flavors of the rice, kelp, and pickled plums in a perfect balance.
